They keep popping up on Amazon at msrp every few minutes for the last few days, but the delivery date is showing April 17-18. Six weeks is a long time to keep $2k and not deliver a product that may be pushed back if it doesn't come in or there aren't enough to fulfill your order. Amazon chat can't tell me how many people have ordered ahead of me if I were to place an order for it now. NewEgg at least ships it out within a few days of ordering when it comes in stock at msrp.

I also got ASUS ROG from Newegg. My CC got charged, says the GPU is being packaged and estimated to be shipped the following day. I wont believe it until it is shipped. Good luck to everyone.

Hhmmm no 4090 cards but 4080 are stock, was on in 30 secs for 4090 and OOS, wonder if it was just a rtx 4000 tag

Thats not why at all. Its because partner cards cant improve much on the 4090. A founders performs within 1-2% of a strix

EVGA stopped making cards because NVIDIA decided to hold back stock for 4k series cards.

Definitely seems like this is the hardest model to come by.

There's speculation that 4000 series is being sold in limited quantity to help move stock of 3000 series cards. Seen that quote thrown in with those convos. But 4090 FE are moving somewhat so why not this? Will be interesting to see where AIB are in a couple months and if it becomes clear why EVGA bowed out. I'm thinking of shifting to the FE actually, performance metrics vs the Strix are such a small difference. Always bought Strix for performance, quality, and aesthetics but even the design took a step back vs the 3090 IMO. Not a fan of the static red/blue and there's very minimal lighting, hard to justify +$400.

I found this online: At the Credit Suisse 26th Annual Tech conference, Nvidias Chief Financial Officer, Colette Kress, claimedthat the firm would resume shipments in Q1 2023

They quit making these or what

Well... Maybe 2023 we'll get some stock? Or will they just keep refusing to make the products people actually want to buy?

Would be nice to have a backorder/queue but no incentive for Nvidia to do it, would probably funnel people to certain models and drive others to AMD if the wait times were actually defined. Let people think if they just wait for the next drop they'll have a chance. Valve isn't concerned about most of that with their hardware, so we have nice queues for the Deck and Index.

It is crazy too that a couple weeks go by without any stock and then like 3 go on sale, and then 2 more weeks pass, etc. It is pretty ridiculous. Like they aren't even manufacturing them or something.

Agreed. I still think these will be needed. Perhaps shops will have stock for 30 seconds instead of the 10 its been on average :D
